Her work first gained attention from visitors in her own home, marveling at the canvases she designed for her personal living space and inspiring a host of enthusiasts in their wake. Since then, Miller has advanced from her initial passion project by creating a body of work that ranges from playful to modern, treading a colorful line between natural vignettes and resonating emotional archetypes.
With a decades-long background in high-end architectural and interior design, Miller relies on first-hand knowledge about what types of artwork will fit and enhance the unique lifestyle of a buyer. During her extensive time spent designing and perfecting so many interiors, she developed a keen understanding of the best way to blend textures, fabrics, and colors for maximum impact. The primary source of inspiration for all of her work comes from years spent studying architecture, art history, and design abroad, spending long periods of time in places like Egypt, Italy, Turkey, Israel, France, and Switzerland - soaking up the invaluable design ethos everywhere, from breathtaking landmarks to local textile markets.
Uniting her passion for design and painting with her spirit of travel, Miller’s work captures the energy and psychology of its viewers, inviting them to soak in the moment. Her colorful, layered, and textural paintings evoke complex feelings of joy and tend to transcend emotional walls.
